RESET Carbon Heads to Athens for the Cascale Annual Meeting 2026

RESET Carbon, an LRQA company, will be at the Cascale Annual Meeting 2026 in Athens from September 15 to 17. This year’s theme, Value Chain Transformation: Who Pays, Who Profits, and What Changes, puts a sharp point on the question our clients are already wrestling with: how to turn climate and sourcing commitments into commercially viable action across the supply chain.

We’re sending a team that spans both sides of that question. On environmental and climate topics, Jothi Kanayalal, Principal Consultant leading our EU/UK work, and Dr. Siva Pariti, Business Director, will be on the ground. On responsible sourcing, Andrew Leatuali’i Savini, Vice President, will represent LRQA’s broader supply chain risk management solutions.

Environmental and climate: closing the gap between commitment and execution

Most of RESET Carbon’s client work centers on supplier engagement and decarbonization programs: designing and scaling the segmentation, training, assessment, and target-setting work that turns a Scope 3 commitment into measurable reductions across apparel, footwear, and consumer goods supply chains, where over 600 companies have committed to science-based targets but implementation still lags behind ambition.

That same supplier-engagement lens now extends further through our NEXUS Environmental Management Program, a newer addition to our offering that brings carbon, water, wastewater, and chemicals into a single facility-level assessment instead of the fragmented, single-issue programs suppliers are typically asked to navigate. It reflects the same problem this year’s Annual Meeting is built to address: suppliers today face more than two dozen overlapping reporting schemes, with the majority of requested data points duplicated across templates, pulling factory resources into repetitive reporting instead of implementation. Jothi and Siva will be on-site throughout the meeting, bringing that on-the-ground, facility-level perspective to conversations with members and partners.

Responsible sourcing: aligning commercial and sourcing models

Andrew will be attending on behalf of LRQA’s responsible sourcing team, bringing a US-based, buyer-side perspective to a meeting that is deliberately widening its lens this year, from climate execution to the commercial and partnership models needed to fund it. With sourcing, procurement, and finance leaders all in the room in Athens, Andrew will be looking for conversations on where responsible sourcing practices and decarbonization financing need to move together, rather than in parallel tracks.
