Pegatron Corporation, a well-known electronics manufacturer headquartered in Taiwan, is committed to sustainable development and actively responding to the call of the government for industrial low-carbon transformation. The company’s short-term carbon reduction target has been verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). It is dedicated to achieving its 2050 net-zero target.
Since 2023, RESET Carbon has partnered with Pegatron to conduct a comprehensive carbon inventory and implement a decarbonization action plan, including support for key suppliers in carrying out holistic carbon reduction measures. From July 2023 to date, the initiative has resulted in a total reduction of 14,265 tCO₂e. On June 4th, RESET, in collaboration with Pegatron, held the kick-off meeting of “1+N Carbon Management Team Program”, focusing on international carbon management trends and the fundamentals of carbon inventory, renewable energy procurement strategies, and in-depth energy efficiency practices for factory operations.
